Tarot Readings

Tarot is an ancient divination tool, in the form of cartomancy, that has been used for centuries to gain insight into one’s past, present and future.

Its’ origins are shrouded in mystery, with many various and also debunked stories of its’ origin being traced back to Egypt, India, China and Korea as far back as the early 12th century. However, it is more widely and commonly believed and accepted, that it originated in the 15th century in Italy, as a card game called Tarocchi.

These early decks of cards were used just like a pack of traditional playing cards, consisting of 56 suit, and court cards. It was later that the 22 Major Arcana cards were added, and it wasn’t until the 18th century that Tarot began to be used as a divinatory tool and practice.

Signs you need a Tarot reading:

  • You're feeling you're at cross road

  • There are situations in your life that are causing you to feel like you've lost direction

  • You're confused about what your purpose in life is

  • You're facing major decisions and are in need of clarity

  • Seeking to improve your relationships with others; personal, work, family

  • Feeling disconnected to self and spirit

  • Experiencing blockages in moving forward towards your inner peace and fulfillment

When you shouldn't have a Tarot reading:

  • When you are turning to the Tarot to make decisions for you. The Tarot isn't designed to cloud your own judgment or perspective, but rather to add another layer to help you make the best decision for yourself

  • When you're feeling too ungrounded and exceptionally anxious so much that it can possibly be an impediment to getting the most out of your reading. A Reiki healing would be a more suitable option when you are feeling this
